Midwifery appointments are available to all women, regardless of where they have chosen to deliver their baby, either within the nhs or the private sector with our experienced Practice Midwife, Sarah Das.

Sarah is a lactation consultant and a member of the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC). Sarah is also a registered refelxologist and has a holistic approach to pregnancy and birth.

Sarah is available for antenatal appointments at all stages of your pregnancy and afterwards, following the birth of your baby. Each consultation lasts 45 minutes and is tailor-made to suit your needs.

What is available at your midwife appointment?

•    A routine check of your blood pressure, urine, and listening in to baby’s heartbeat (depending on how far you are in your pregnancy).
•    Advice on diet and exercise
•    General advice and support on anything relating to your pregnancy, delivery and life with baby after the birth
•    Help with Birth anxiety
•    One-to-one birth preparation for you and your partner (90 minute session)
•    Preparation for caesarean section delivery
•    Antenatal breastfeeding preparation session (60 minutes)
•    Breastfeeding support after birth either at the clinic or in the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you.
