"I believe that pregnancy is a wondrous, natural and healthy state and childbirth an entirely normal physiological event for a woman. As a mother myself, I am a passionate advocate of a woman's right to choose the type of obstetric care and support she would like to receive, whether a natural or assisted delivery; my absolute priority is the care and safety of mother and baby."
